Who We Are


We are a state licensed facility which offers a comfortable living space for all residents.

Comfort Home of Bloomfield is owned and operated by a Registered Nurse with over 15 years of experience in Emergency Care Nursing, Critical Care Nursing, Home Care Nursing, Wound Care Nursing, Long and Short Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH), Long Term and Short Term Rehabilitation Centre, and Long Term Nursing Home Care.

All entrances, hallways and rooms are completely wheelchair accessible.

OUR CAREGIVERS

  • Each caregiver is trained in CPR/First Aide

  • Care is provided based on a care plan and the clients’ needs

  • Criminal background checks are conducted for each caregiver

  • Caregivers receive quarterly training, skills testing and performance reviews

  • Continuity of care is important for our residents. Caregivers receive the same client schedule

  • Our caregivers are compassionate and caring

Comfort Home of Bloomfield provided dependent, professional, loving care to my mom through its staff and facility. The care she was given was genuine, personable and heartfelt. Comfort and her staff worked diligently to assure cleanliness of mom, as well as the home and even her bedding. Each day there were fresh, healthy, delicious home cooked meals prepared to fit the palatability of mom and each resident, specifically made according to her and their dietary restrictions. It was a pleasure to meet and visit with all the wonderful staff, who tirelessly cared for my mom. Comfort has a medical background and her staff are also highly educated– there were times I had concerns about mom’s anxiousness and her condition, so I would bring that to their attention and they would address the matter. Having Comfort Home of Bloomfield was a blessing for my family.

After having my husband in five previous facilities for Assisted Living/Memory Care, we FINALLY found a home for him with Comfort. She and her caregivers were so kind, caring and we appreciated the hands-on interaction. My husband was so appreciative of their care as well. They were so patient with him and I can’t tell you enough how pleased we were with the care he received before he passed away. Comfort’s home was the answer to our prayers!!!!!
